Management

Overview

Management skills apply to every organization and in every business discipline. The Management Major is designed to give students the skills they need to lead companies in all phases of development, from start up to maturity, and through challenging situations. The Management student develops competence in human-resource management, quantitative and statistical decision-making, production/operations management, and general management. Within the Management degree, students may choose to study general management or to specialize in the growing field of human resource management.

Applying to the Management Major

Students wishing to apply to the Management Major should submit an Application for Major Status in Management.

 

Before applying, be sure you:

  1. Completed all pre-business courses
  2. Hold Upper Division Status
  3. Completed MGT 3680
  4. Completed MGT 3810
